On Saturday, I graduate from UC Davis with my Bachelors degree in Communication & Linguistics. It has been a stressful, yet rewarding & unforgettable experience. I have grown to love Davis, California and a little sad to leave. In 4 weeks, Heather & I move to Honolulu to start our new lives and the countdown begins! My mom & aunt got new renters into the house we're renting from them right now beginning July 1st, so Heather & I are moving into my parents new house for 2 weeks before we depart on July 14th. Moving sucks!
I have 2 finals left before graduating - CMN 138 (Communication & Cognition) and LIN 131 (Syntactic Theory). I hate both of these classes. Seriously, probably the most boring and useless classes I've ever taken at UCD. Oh well, I have a final in an hour that I should be studying for and one tomorrow at 8am...but I have learned one great thing at UCD - the art of procrastination! I promise to update this a lot more when we're actually in Hawaii and have a lot more exciting things to talk about.
Oh, I'm going on a 3 night/4 day backpacking trip with Cody & Jake starting Monday to Lassen National Park! I'm stoked, never been backpacking before. I had a dream that I got attacked by a bear, I hope that doesn't happen. If it does, I'm going to bring a big knife to defend myself...if that doesn't work, well...change Ashton's name to Anthony! Haha I'm just kidding...
