One-way Flight booked!

So we've been looking around for the most inexpensive flights to Honolulu. Heather & I took our first real vacation together back in 2009 to Maui. Back then we paid around $500 round-trip for our flights. I guess flights have really gone up! Before I 100% decided to accept UH Manoa for grad school, my dad and I flew to Honolulu to check our the campus and got robbed on really expensive flights. The cheapest from Sacramento was Hawaiian Airlines, which we really liked. Basically they have one flights going-to and leaving-from Honolulu/Sacramento a day.

Anyway, I found really reasonably priced tickets on Alaska Airlines from Oakland. If you're in NorCal and want to come visit us, fly from Oakland airport on Alaska Airlines! It seems like you can get round trip airfare for around $430 year-round. So, we leave on Saturday July 14th from Oakland on Alaska Airlines. Everything is getting in order for the big move! We've had 3 successful yard sales, getting things packed up, and preparing for an adventure of a lifetime. I'm so happy we're able to do this together. We're both really excited and happy for those friends/family that support us. Only 55 days until the big move. Wow - that is going to come way too fast.
